Snow Village

Suurinpiirtein Ylläksen ja Levin puolesta välistä löytyy Lainion Lumikylä. Kyseessä on siis hotelli ja ravintola, jotka on rakennettu kokonaan lumesta ja jäästä! Pääsymaksua vastaan hotelliin pääsi vierailulle ja katsomaan hotellihuoneita. Huonee oli siis veistetty lumeen ja koristeltu erilaisin tyylein ja keskellä huonetta oli aina sänky. Se sänkykin oli tehty jäästä mutta toki siinä oli normaali sängyn patja, jossa nukkua. Tällasessa hotellihuoneessa on siis tarkoitus nukkua makuupussissa, jotta pysyy lämpimänä, mutta mua ahdistaa koko ajatuskin. Kuka tällaista oikeesti tekee?

Hotellissa oli myös kappeli häitä varten sekä jäästä tehty ravintola. Mutta jottei yöpyjien koko ajan tarvi olla kylmässä, oli siellä myös tavallinen lämmin ravintola :) Hauska kokemus!

Approximately between Ylläs hill and Levi hill you can find a village called Snow Village. Technically it is a hotel and restaurant made only from snow and ice! With a little entrance payment you can go inside the hotel and visit the hotel rooms. All the rooms were carved into snow and every room had a different style. In the middle of the room there was a bed and that was also made of ice. Well of course there was also a normal mattress and people are suppose to sleep there in a sleeping bag to stay warm. Personally even the idea makes me stop breathing! Does somebody actually do that?

In the hotel there was also a chapel for getting married and a restaurant made of ice. Of course there were also warm rooms so that the customers don't need to stay in cold all the time :) Funny experience!
